Winter Snow (Dong Xue) took me out this afternoon, in her bright red KIA, straight after out tutorial finished. A 4WD adventure through and unmarked detour  across a walk bridge and alley designed for push bikes and pedestrians rather than 2- way traffic and a few quick checks of the phone map and we hit food street- freezing cold and she treated me to local specialties. Traffic had mounted by then and it took over an hour to the restaurant. Noodles were ordered, made fresh, cooked served and devouredwithin 28 minutes!!! DELICIOUS. Her skill and patience at maneuvering through the traffic at 22 years of age impressed me greatly. She spoke like her partying days were over and now her focus was graduating and getting a job.

Perspective really. Meanwhile my little laughing guide Eva broke down in tears today, after seeming totally happy all morning. I was told it was to do with friendships and being a silly girl - Eva is 22 ish and the admin lady is 27, what happens over those 5 years? And me at 37? I still have those 22 year old flighty moments all the time!!!! Well time to deal with another self created mini crisis - the things I get myself worked up about and messed up by!!!
